PLEASE NOTE: Each dress is hand dyed in small batches. No patterns will ever be exactly the same, so you know you are getting a one-of-a-kind piece. Truly a piece of art! If you have any preference, please make a note and we will do our best to accommodate.

• Dyed by hand in small batch with non-toxic/ natural indigo extract (from the leaves of the indigo plant Indigofera tinctoria)

• Socially responsible, environmentally friendly, and made in the USA.

About the Dye Artist:

My name is Jodi Lynn Hopkins. I am a bay area lifer, single mama, singer songwriter, real estate student and last but not least, a natural dye biz owner. I started my journey with indigo dye 10 years ago when I was given all of my grandmother’s antique linens. Wanting to find a way to bring these precious linens to life again, I found a book on the Japanese art of Shibori. I was immediately inspired. At the start of 2020, I jumped in full time and set up my Etsy store named Cityshibori. Since then, I have been featured in boutiques and I also sell my goods at pop-up craft fairs. I am excited by my exploration with other natural dyes as well, such as avocado pits and onion skins.

I am so grateful for the work I create with CityShibori. It brings me so much joy and catharsis and I’m so excited to share it with you.
