Never allow your candle to burn unattended.
Keep the candle away from things that catch fire.
Keep the candle out of the reach of children and pets.
Keep the candle away from air conditioners, fans, drafts, or highly trafficked areas. Too much airflow around the candle will cause air flow around the candle, you will see soot appear around the glass edge.

Trim the wick to 1/4" before every burn. Longer wicks will create carbon buildup at the top, which results in larger flames and smoke. Shorter wicks will ensure a consistent, clean burn that will extend the life of your candle. 

Be sure to burn the candle for a minimum of 2 hours, but no longer than 4 hours. Candles have a melt memory, so the entire surface of the candle needs to melt or tunneling of the wax will occur. Longer burn terms will ensure a consistent, even burn each time.    

After the candle has burned, the handblown cocktail glass can be reused. To remove any
wax residue, simply pop the candle into the freezer for a few hours. The soy wax will shrink in the cold; loosen with a butter knife if the wax and wick base aren’t easily removed.
